| 08.07.2007 js (israel) The hotel was excellent as said above- we are not used to not receiving pool towels or paying to dring water with our ec |

| 14.10.2004 Roy (England) Hotel accomodation was first class. Room super very large with 2 double beds as advertised, very clean, nice balcony. Food very good and staff friendly, no language problems. The location of Santa Susanna about 50 K from Barcelona no real problem adequate cheap train service. I could recommend this hotel and would certainly visit again. I found location very good and the terrain level to my liking. Good value for money. |

| 07.10.2004 Mike (UK) Ok, we just came back today 7th of oct. 2004 from santa sussana, caprici verd hotel.
just fully satisfaction from food and services.
hotal is localized in the best place of santa sussana as it is in the side of the village and the turists from other hotels are not pass thrue.
so, we wish to come again in the next year. |
| |
| 02.10.2004 Sharon and Chris (Essex, England) Would certainly recommend this hotel, well, have already!! Very friendly staff and extremely professional. Fantastic choice of food, couldn't be faulted. Something for everyone. Lovely, clean and spacious rooms. Best hotel we have stayed in! Thanks for making this a holiday to remember. We will be coming back again. |
| |
| 03.08.2004 Bart (Belgium) We visited Caprici Verd the second week of juli.
This is by all means the best hotel for family holidays i've ever been.(i can only refer to some 30 hotels accross europ).
Because the hotel is just open for some 2 years, everything is according the latest building rules, comming from Belgium, where everybody builds his house, the hotel could match our standards (granite bathroom, strong airco, 2 queen size beds, solid doors),
due to our visit early in the season, we always had lotst of room in the restaurant, the pool, the inside pool.
Staff is friendly( 4 dutch speaking animators). This hotel is till now the only one i would go back to next year.
Minors; drinks at the poolbar expensive, no underground car parking (you can park your car though in the parking at the back of the hotel at10 euro/day), no parking nearby the hotel to load/unload bagages, internet limited to almost MSN messenger) |
| |
| 26.07.2004 Ashraf Osman (Denmark) Very good hotel and clean. Very touristic however, so the breakfast feels like a big canteen and a bit hectic. |
| |
| 03.07.2004 Marja&Kees (Netherlands) Caprice Verd is a comfortable hotel with comfortable bedrooms and a very good breakfast. The buffet we didn't like because of the fact we like to eat the things of the country as tapas, good fish etc. So dinner we used in good restaurants in the area. We love the Spanish wines and the sangria. With the train to Barcelona and discover this wonderfull town. We enjoyed it very much. Further on the prices of Caprice Verd are :pleasant". The staff is very friendly and helpsome. We visited it now for the second time but not in "high season". May and half september is very comfortable for us. In high season it s a crime w ll think to get your own space and time there. Last year lot s of Russian and Israele people there.....was new for us. Normaly Britisch, Dutch, German ans some French visitors but that s changing now. When there is sun, Caprice Verd and some tapas restaurants a week is wonderfull to recover from your bussy life, but in high season lot of family's with children will visit this place so for single's and couple's we advise may and end of september to relax there. Otherwise it likes as Porgy's Pritty Place.............................We will go back this year and enjoy Spain!(and Barcelona) |

| 21.06.2004 Robyn (Atlanta, Georgia USA) The hotel was exactly as described! The rooms were very nice - as was the entire hotel! The train is literally across the street (very convenient!) - and from the airport it was about 90 minutes - to Barcelona about 60. The train was 1.10 each way (Euro) - and the cab from the airport would have cost us 85 Euros - definately worth the trip on the train!
Only suggestion: no luggage carrier within hotel. It was very awkward to come in the back of the hotel through bushes with luggage from the train - but besides that - everything was GREAT!
Buffet for breakfast was very nice - and was able to accomodate many people at one time! |
| |
| 15.06.2004 Michelle (USA) The hotel Caprici Verd was very nice and an exceptional value. Our hotel room was large and we each had our own double bed. The bath included a bidet (nice suprise). The whole hotel was extremely clean and the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. I wish I had this place to come to in the USA! The buffet was impressive in that it had
to satisfy many varied cultural tastes. While the Brits among us may have liked the kippers, I relished the crepes, and wonderful orange yolked free range eggs over easy. Also, at dinner, we had the most wonderful gazpatchio
soup I ever had. They also had inexpensive internet connections available for staying in touch with home. I would recommend this hotel to everyone as a clean, safe, fun place to stay. We day tripped into Barcelona the two days we
stayed. The train was extremely convienient (though we almost missed the last train back one night!) and cheap. If I was Consumer Reports, I would definately list this as a BEST BUY |
| |
| 19.05.2004 Unni (Norway) I had a wonderful time at your hotel
beginning of may.Standard is very high compaired to prize. |
| |
| 30.04.2004 Geoff and Joy (Derbyshire) The Caprici Verd is a great hotel for both family and couples. The restaurant is first class, the rooms spacious, with 2 double beds and a good bathroom and shower.
To travel in the local area is so easy with the train station across the road, and the 1 hour journey to Barcelona by train is so cheap (around 6 euro)
Will definatly be returning. |
| |
| 22.04.2004 Raymond Bruggeman (Holland) The airconditioning in our room was not working at all, the nights were very hot and swetty, not comfortable. |
| |
| 07.11.2003 Petra (Finland) Nice hotel, our room was good, 2 very big beds, so perfect for a family with two kids. Very good was also, that we could take the train to Barcelona leaving just in front of the hotel. Negative point: very cold floor and sometimes the entertainment programmes could be heard in the first floor, where we had our room. Thank you for your excellent service, we will use you again for our next trips. |
| |
| 01.11.2003 Jaimie Devine (Belgium) Your hotel is beautiful. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the Mediterranean. There were lots of activities for our kids to enjoy(indoor pool, pool table, etc). The meals were buffet with lots to choose from and the price of the room and meals were reasonable. I would definitely stay there again. |
| |
| 30.10.2003 Sue & Paul (Barnsley) We stayed at Caprici Verd w/c 15 October with other Gala Bingo winners of this free holiday. The hotel and its facilities were fabulous. We found the rooms spacious, comfortable and the furnishings tasteful. There was plenty of choice at mealtimes and it was good to see meat and fish cooked freshly within the restaurant. We found Santa Suzanna very quiet but the train service which ran from outside the hotel was great to access other resorts along the coast, ran regularly and was cheap. |
| |
| 29.10.2003 shaz and colin (England) 1st Class hotel, stunning, clean and very modern. Great value easy reach from the airport by train. |
| |
| 29.10.2003 Craig (UK) Hotel Caprici Verd in Santa Susannah.......which i would
recommend very strongly as a base for touring the Costa Brava, and
especially into Barcelona as the train station is directly outside the hotel
and takes 1hour 15 m ins into the city.
The facilities of the hotel are excellent (either for couples or families)
with very comfortable bedrooms, good food, lovely bar, great pools both
indoor and outdoor. The staff seemed tired after a very busy summer, but
they were very attentive nevertheless. Overall great value for money!! |
| |
| 27.10.2003 mr & mrs Vaughan (manchester,england) hotel excellent location,good service,friendly staff,spacious well appointed room & good selection of food. |
| |
| 19.10.2003 Gary & Sarah (Derby UK) lovely hotel. excellent facilities. Will be going back again soon |
| |
| 18.10.2003 Gary (Derby uk) A very nice hotel. Excellent rooms and facilities.Ideal for railway station, plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended, so much so we're going back again! |
| |
| 05.10.2003 Maya Bielik (Israel) This is by far the best hotel i've been to in the last few years! Huge rooms, great bathroom, awesome swimming pool and the beach and train station are close to it (5 minutes by walking). The greatest thing was the food, you just don't know what to choose, there is just EVERYTHING and it's delicious! I have to go back there someday...!!! VERY recommended |
| |
| 22.09.2003 Jane (US) We really enjoy our stay in the hotel !!! |
| |
| 20.09.2003 Jane (USA) Very nice hotel ! We really enjoy our stay in your hotel, very easy reach of Barcelona. It took as about an hour ( 40 minutes) by train to get to Barcelona. Nice swimming pool , 5 minutes beach . What else could you wish? We definetelly enjoy the friendly and professional hotel service!
Would suggest anyway to stay in the hotel !
|
| |
| 18.09.2003 Dean (Paignton) Hotel of a good standard. The only thing that let the place down was the horrible little man with the glasses who owrked at the entrance to the resturant. Kids club was not that good. All in all one of the better places we have stayed in. Just being picky really!! |
| |
| 07.09.2003 adam (spalding england) my girlfriend and i thought it was the best hotel we had ever stayed in. the room was excellent with a nice shower room and a balcony which looked out onto the sea. the room was also air conditioned which reaaly help us sleep. the pool and bar area were both fantastic, with really friendly staff after trying all the cocktails we both agree that the 'green' one was the nicest! there is plenty of choice at breakfast and the food was very good. santa sussanna is nice to walk around with good entertainment but quite a limited choice of resturants. all in all a great holiday, would go back and would recommend it to any couple or family. |
| |
| 03.09.2003 Verity (London) We have never been in such a smart hotel before. It was very clean and the rooms beautiful. I thought the not allowing night time swimming silly. My children went to the kids club and I thought it should have had more activities as they found it a bit boring. The kids disco was wonderful though. The food was of a high standard and we thoroughly enjoyed trying the different dishes. I would dfinintly recommend this hotel to other British people and have actually already done so. Please can you get English newspapers in future. |
| |
| 25.08.2003 rose (italy) if somebody of you knows denis e mail addresse please send it to me because i lost it!if you know it you can contact me by writing a message on this web site, please it's very important.thank you |

| 15.08.2003 Lillian (Norway) Hotel Caprici Verd was very nice and we enjoyd to stay there very much. We will come back. |
| |
| 19.07.2003 T Young (US living in Germany) The Hotel was very comfortable and helpful with some of our last minute needs. The pool of course was great. Wee bit cold in the morning but nice in the afternoon. It closes at 7 PM but we decided it was because life on the streets in the city of Santa Suzana picks up and the food and fun starts.
Trains to Barcelona were quite available but certain times quite crowded. Beach is not far away but sand is not very fine. Breakfast was huge and very Europeon which is a bit of an oximoron. Very nice place for family vacation. Prices were very reasonable and local community very nice and supportive. |
| |
| 24.06.2003 gerrit (netherlands) Good place to stay,
food excellent,
helpful and kind servicedesk. |
| |
| 22.06.2003 tariq (uk) very nice hotel friendly and helpfull staf smooth check in/check out.large choice of breakfast idealy located for beach. |
| |
| 11.06.2003 TB (UK) Light airy hotel with freindly staff. Clean rooms with daily maid service. Meals are excellent with a good chioce.
Easy access to the beach & all amenities
Santa Susana rail stop right outside hotel making other parts of the catalan region within easy reach. |
| |
| 10.06.2003 Vinu (Luton Beds uk) Hotel staff were very professional,Restaurant food and staff provided excellent service, and good value. All round very pleased with location and good value for money, would go back.Only disappointment was both jacuzzi`s were out of action |
| |
| 09.06.2003 VIJAY (INDIA) HOTEL WAS ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL WE HAVE STAYED IN EUROPE. IT IS THE BEST AND MOST COMFOIRTABLE HOTEL. THE MANAGMENT IS VERY COOPERATIVE AND AMBIENCE IS FABULOUS. IT IS WORTH PAYING FOR A NICE COOL WEEKEND STAY. THE BRAKFAST MENU IS JUST EXCELENT. EVERYTHING IS THERE WHAT YOU COULD DREAM OF. EVEN THE DINNER BOFAE IS VERY CHEAP AND STOMACH FILLING. THE ONLY DISPADVATAGE IS THAT ITS APRACH TO THE BEACH IS THROUGH ANOTHER HOTEL WHICH WAS VERY BAD. |
| |
| 09.06.2003 Thierry (Lyon (France)) This new hotel is beautiful. The staff are professional. The room are large and the view over the beach and over the swimming pool is wonderful. Thanks Sasha for this very good choice. My trip was very enjoyable. The situation is very good to visit Barcelona. Station train at 5 minutes, beach 5 minutes. 26/05/2003 |
| |
| 09.06.2003 Anne Cleary (Dublin,Ireland) a lovely relaxing holiday. The hotel is bright & airy, spotless clean, great value for money & right across the road from the train station. The hotel is very popular with older germany & dutch people, no manic teenagers in sight. The pubs & clubs are about 10 minutes walk from the hotel so you can be near the action without being struck right in the middle of it. I'd nave no hesitation in returning which I hope will be soon.
Thanks again for a great holiday.. |
| |
| 07.06.2003 Judith (israel) We stayed in Caprici Verd Hotel for a week and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is very nice, located close to the rail station, and it was very pleasant to stay there. |
| |
| 20.05.2003 Pippa (London, UK) This is a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. There is little to do in the immediate area, but the beach is very good, and the hotel does provide entertainment most evenings. The drinks are all reasonably priced, and having sampled several, my Mum and I were dancing merrily!! The rooms are all spacious, extremely clean, and ours had 2 balconies with a lovely beach view. The restaurant food (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent with an extensive buffet choice. The staff are VERY strict about food and drink not being taken out of the restaurant which was frustrating when we wanted an early morning coffee in our rooms, and there is no room service either. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for exploring the Catalan region, rather than for seeing Barcelona as it is over an hour on the train each way. |
| |
| 13.05.2003 Niki (Bristol) We left it too late to book a hotel in Barcelona during the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend so we were worried that we'd end up with a hotel that nobody else wanted. How wrong we were. It was a new hotel at the quiet end of the small resort of Santa Susanna. Our room had all the modern amenities you'd expect plus comfy beds and a fabulous shower. The public areas were bright and airy and the pool had a jacuzzi along side. Due to the way it has been built all rooms have balconies with views to the sea and the mountains behind. The buffet breakfast was really varied but don't try taking anything out of the restaurant to eat later .. it'll be confiscated! We had a buffet style evening meal for 10 euros, great value. Even though the hotel was full everything ran smoothly and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Railway station close by for a quick and cheap coastal ride into the beautiful city of Barcelona. Drawbacks; a new hotel being built next door might put some people off but we were told it should be finished by May and most of the actual work was inside; hotel entertainment was aimed at the older generation whilst we there but I guess that's a taste thing. That said we would definitely stay there again. |
