This hotel is perfect for travelers with a budget and who wish to spend their money more on visiting sights in Barcelona than using it on exclusive hotels. Do not expect a fancy room or thick towels. This is a very basic hotel but it does offer a great combination of location and price. Once visitors arrive, they are greeted in a fashion only enjoyed in small family run hotels. All rooms are fully equipped with bathrooms, heating, air conditioning, and T.V. The hotel's restaurant offers a variety of international cuisine, prepared with products grown in this part of Catalonia. The hotel also features cafeteria, restaurant/snack bar and laundry service. |

The room could have done with decorating and the extractor fan cover in the ensuite was missing. The hotel is fifteen minutes amble from the harbour end of LaRambla which makes it convienent but quiet. To be recommended as good value basic accomodation. | | |

| 17.02.2003 Peter (Ireland) This hotel is very basic, and although the other reviews say it is central, it is in fact at the very end of the Ramblas to the left of the port, not the best place to be walking at night. the rooms are just about ok, although the staff are very friendly. It is too expensive for what you actually get, it is more like a hostal than a hotel. having said that if you are just in Barcelona for a couple of nights, it is more than adequate. | | |

We originally booked a double, to find that the only rooms they had upon arrival were twins. The room they offered to us was not big enough to a cat in. We refused this room, and were offered the only other room available, which had broken ceiling panels in the bathroom.
We organised to have a double room the next day, to find that on the next day there were none available.
The noise from outside the hotel was minimal, however the walls of the rooms appeared to be made of paper, as you could hear everything from the rooms around us.
My recommendation - Don't stay here!! | | |

| 23.11.2002 Helen and Graham (Oxford England) This hotel is excellent for a short trip to Barcelona because its really close to everything (harbour 3 mins walk, Gothic quarter 5 mins, Rambla 10 mins).
But it's also on a quiet street, which is hard to find in central Barcelona, so you can see the sights and still get some sleep at the end of the day!
We found the staff friendly, the dinner excellent and the room small but clean and well-equipped. We'd definitely stay there again. | | |
